About the team

The Foundational Model Team (FMT) aims to develop in-house Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities to drive innovation across Flipkart Group's diverse business applications. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of state-of-the-art AI and making a significant impact on India's e-commerce landscape, Flipkart's FMT provides the ideal platform to solve real-world challenges and accelerate your career as a Data Scientist, especially in the GenAI space. You will work on Research in GenAI with funded compute.

You are Responsible for

Exploring and applying recent research in the space of GenAI to the benefit of applications for Flipkart group

Building in-house GenAI models that are competitive for Flipkart applications

Facilitating utilisation of in-house models for business applications To succeed in this role you should have the following A deep understanding of the algorithms they have worked on, both in theory and application. A strong grasp of Deep Learning principles, including the theory and practice of fine-tuning language models and a solid foundation in ML models. A commitment to staying updated with the latest research trends in deep learning, LLMs, and AI advancements
