About the Role :-
We are looking for a Data Scientist who is the analytical engine of the campaign team building the systems, dashboards, and models that tell the team what is happening in a campaign, what voters are feeling, and where creative and digital strategy needs to shift. This person works from live voter research, social listening data, and platform analytics to surface insights that drive real campaign decisions.
Key Responsibilities :-
Build and maintain a Sentiment Monitoring Dashboard aggregating data from social platforms, news sources, and research into a live, actionable view of campaign health
Analyze voter sentiment, issue salience, and opposition traction from social listening, media monitoring, and research data.
Apply audience targeting logic to paid media planning, working with the Performance Marketing Specialist and Head of Digital Strategy
Build data models to predict campaign performance and identify where creative or digital effort should be concentrated.
Lead the team's use of AI tools for content performance prediction, social listening, audience modelling, and content generation assistance
Produce weekly data insight reports for each active campaign team translating numbers into decisions that non-technical stakeholders can act on
Maintain a live data bridge with research partners weekly syncs, shared dashboards, and real-time alert protocols for significant sentiment shifts
Required Skills & Experience :-
6–10 years of data science experience with proficiency in Python or R for analysis and modelling
Experience with social listening and media monitoring tools Brand watch, Meltwater, Sprinklr, or equivalent
Ability to build dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or equivalent
Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in communications, NLP for sentiment analysis, audience modelling, content performance prediction
Experience with political data is a significant advantage — voter behavior modelling, constituency-level analysis, or survey data interpretation
Strong ability to communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders — the value of this role is in decisions made from the data, not in the data itself
Understanding of digital advertising platforms and how audience targeting works on Meta, Google, and YouTube
Genuine intellectual curiosity about emerging AI tools and a habit of staying current with new developments
