Data Science Specialist – GenAI & LLMs

Location: Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Gurgaon

We are hiring a Data Science Specialist to build AI-driven, explainable recommendation systems for next‑generation Agentic AI products in the media and retail media space.

This role focuses on decision intelligence—designing ML and GenAI models that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights delivered through LLM-powered experiences.

You will work closely with Product, AI/Agent Engineers, and Platform teams to take AI solutions from idea to production at global scale.

• Build and deploy ML and GenAI models that generate recommendations, predictions, and decision support, not just analytics
• Apply LLMs to power: Natural-language Ask the AI interactions & explainable AI recommendations grounded in data
• Combine historical data, real-time signals, and competitive indicators to drive optimization use cases
• Own model evaluation, insight quality, and explainability
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure models are production-ready
• Partner with Product and business teams to translate problems into AI solutions

Required skills

• 7-9 years of experience as a Data Scientist / Applied ML professional
• Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs in real products
• Excellent Python-based data science skills
• Proven ability to turn data into clear business insights
• Comfortable working in cross-functional, global teams (GCC setup)

Nice to Have

• Experience with recommendation systems or forecasting
• Exposure to media, retail media, ad-tech, or marketing data
• Familiarity with agent-based or decision-support AI systems
