Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Data Science Professor based in Coimbatore. The Data Science Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering course materials, conducting lectures and workshops on data science topics, mentoring students, and assessing their performance. They will also collaborate with the curriculum development team, stay updated on the latest industry trends, and ensure that students are prepared for careers in the tech industry.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core data science concepts, including statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data analytics
- Hands-on experience with popular programming tools and frameworks such as Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Experience in course design, curriculum development, and student mentorship
- A passion for teaching and ability to inspire students to excel in their careers
- Prior industry or academic experience in data science is highly desirable
- Master's or NET/SET in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
