iSmartRecruit is seeking a motivated Data Research Executive Trainee to join our talent intelligence and data operations team. The role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality candidate and company data, conducting targeted data research, planning and executing outreach campaigns, and tracking campaign and data performance. This is an entry-level role with structured training, ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn data tools and outreach techniques.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate, up-to-date datasets of candidates, clients, and market segments using internal platforms and external sources.
- Perform targeted data research to identify candidate profiles, contact information, company hierarchies, and market intelligence.
- Create, validate, and enrich records to ensure data completeness and integrity.
- Design and execute outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage potential candidates and clients under guidance.
- Segment target lists and tailor outreach messaging in coordination with recruitment and marketing teams.
- Monitor outreach performance metrics such as open rates, response rates, and conversion rates; prepare regular campaign performance reports.
- Track data quality KPIs and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency of data collection and outreach.
- Collaborate with recruiters, account managers, and product teams to support sourcing strategies and operational needs.
- Document research methodologies, data sources, and outreach templates to ensure repeatability and compliance with data protection policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Science, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior internship or project experience in research, data entry, lead generation, recruitment sourcing, or related functions is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft concise outreach messages and documentation.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with structured datasets while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable working with targets and KPIs; basic understanding of campaign performance metrics.
- Willingness to learn data tools, CRM systems, and outreach automation platforms; commitment to continuous learning.
