Position: Data Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
- As a Data Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our organizations data assets. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data quality processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging cloud platforms to optimize data quality and integration.
- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and enforce data quality standards.
- Develop and implement data cleansing strategies to address identified data quality issues.
- Utilize data profiling tools and techniques to analyze data patterns and identify potential quality issues.
- Work on optimizing data architectures for improved data quality and performance.
- Utilize cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP to deploy and manage data quality solutions.
- Leverage cloud services for scalable storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets.
- Document data quality issues, root causes, and remediation steps.
- Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data quality requirements and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skill.
