Data Quality and Transformation Analyst - Contractor

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Quality & Transformation Analyst to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and readiness of our global analytics data. You will assess data quality, design and implement the required transformations, and collaborate closely with our global analytics and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the quality of incoming data across multiple sources.
• Define, document, and implement data transformation rules to make data available for global consumption.
• Work with stakeholders to identify data gaps, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.
• Develop and maintain transformation pipelines in DBT and manage version control in GitHub.
• Leverage Google BigQuery and GA4 data to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Partner with engineering and analytics teams to ensure data standards and governance are met.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2 - 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data quality management.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GA4 (Google Analytics 4).
• Proven experience with DBT (data build tool) and GitHub for version control.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, transformation pipelines, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with global teams.
