Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled ETL Automation & Functional QA Analyst with 3–8 years of experience in data validation, ETL testing, and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, validating ETL workflows, and building automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Validate data integrity, completeness, and accuracy across multiple systems.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to understand data flows and requirements.
- Automate test cases using automation tools/frameworks to improve efficiency.
- Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Prepare and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
- Identify defects, log bugs, and track them to closure.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
- Hands-on experience in test automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, or similar).
- Good understanding of functional testing and QA methodologies.
- Experience working with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automation frameworks development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
