Job Details

Role Description

The role incumbent, as a highly experienced individual contributor in a project team assigned to a specific geography, is focused on delivery in Data Processing or Scripting. The role is responsible for programming utilities/scripts using Kantar platforms and tools to collect, analyse, and visualise data, and for execution, support, and documentation of assigned projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution

  • Understand client domain, Kantar products, project scope, and job specifications

  • Execute programming tasks using standard Kantar software/technology platforms

  • Independently handle multiple projects across varying complexity levels

  • Ensure delivery with required accuracy and within agreed timelines

  • Determine feasibility of applying interactive tools in projects

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as primary contact for assigned projects with minimal supervision

  • Update Line Manager / Project Manager on risks to scope, time, or cost

  • Interact with key stakeholders across departments within the cluster/country

Process, Quality & Governance

  • Deliver to defined performance metrics and competencies

  • Comply with ISO processes, checklists, and guidelines

  • Adhere to defined work practices (timesheets, work status, responsiveness, escalation)

  • Identify opportunities to simplify tasks using modern tools and technology

  • Support team decisions and contribute as Buddy/Mentor for new joiners

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of programming principles

  • Proficiency in Quantum / SPSS / Unicom (Dimensions) / Nfield

  • Expertise in Kantar products (e.g. MDF, CA/HBG, NeedScope, BEAST, LINK, IA, XM)

  • Understanding of MaxDiff, Conjoint, Weighting, N2D

  • Proficiency in MS Office exposure to SPSS/statistical tools

  • Good to have: SQL, Python, R, Power BI Java/.NET/VB/PHP

  • Strong understanding of the Market Research lifecycle
