Data Ops Team Lead

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Data Ops Team Leads to manage both regular and specialised annotation projects. The role requires hands-on experience with annotation tools, strong leadership skills, and a sharp eye for quality assurance. You will oversee a team of annotators, set standards for accuracy, and ensure timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data annotators on image, video, text, and specialised projects
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high annotation accuracy
• Train team members on tools, processes, and specialised annotation tasks
• Collaborate with project managers to plan and deliver on client requirements
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
• Handle escalations and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in data annotation (image, video, text, audio, or specialised domains like coding, medical, etc.)
• Prior experience in leading or managing teams
• Strong understanding of annotation tools 
• Proven track record of maintaining quality standards and conducting QC checks
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work from our Delhi office (in-person role)

• Experience in specialised annotation domains (coding, medical, etc.)
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and data pipelines
