As the Vice-President specializing in the Instrument Reference Data Team within JP Morgan, you are responsible for meeting internal client demands across various Lines of Business. You will contribute to the success of daily third-party price capture and validation of bond prices by analyzing market sources and price movements. Your role includes recruiting, training, and managing a team to maintain Instrument & Common Reference Data on core platforms. You will run analytics for different bond types, calculate Accrued Interest and YTM, and resolve discrepancies. Liaising with pricing vendors to address pricing issues and minimize risk is essential. You will monitor systems, collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues, and prepare daily pricing summaries. Generating month-end Index rebalance reports and analyzing valuation movements within client portfolios are key tasks. You will complete all required tasks and reporting, resolve client queries, and participate in client meetings. Escalating issues, contributing to pricing control process developments, and managing team performance are part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will design operational processes, perform business analysis, and manage project tasks in collaboration with technology and operations teams.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
.10+ years experience within Financial Services ideally in Index management/maintenance. In-depth knowledge of handling and managing Fixed Income Securities
.Domain knowledge of various bond types, corporate actions of various asset classes, how to price a bond, calculating Net Asset Value, Accrued Interest , Yield to Maturity, Cumulative Total Return and other stats. Working experience with different vendors- Bloomberg, Reuters, etc
.Strong practical experience of Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of at least one programming language (C++, R, Python, Alteryx, )
.People Management - candidate review and assessment, performance management, training and development planning, objective setting. Good leadership, influencing & communication skills with the ability to work with others at all levels and across disciplines in a virtual organization.
.Experience in Operations Management, with solid risk and controls awareness. Demonstrated ability to think strategically with respect to data, technology, risk/control and operations agendas. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and related experience
.Ability to deal with issues on a global, cross business levels. Strong team attitude. Proactive and pragmatic approach - recognized as someone who get things done
.Self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
