Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in data modelling concepts, SQL, and data warehousing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing enterprise-grade data models and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and convert them into effective data models.

Ensure data models support performance, scalability, security, and reporting requirements.

Participate in the complete solution delivery lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Support data quality initiatives and data profiling activities.

Collaborate with ETL and development teams to ensure correct data mapping and transformation.

Provide technical guidance and support during enterprise-level implementations.

Engage with clients and internal teams to resolve data-related issues effectively.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modelling.

Strong experience with data modelling tools such as:

Erwin Data Modeler

ER Studio

Toad (or similar tools)

Strong knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, optimization).

Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (facts, dimensions, schemas).

Basic ETL knowledge, including data mapping, transformation, and translation.

Knowledge of Data Quality (DQ) and Data Profiling techniques and tools.

Good to Have / Preferred Skills

Experience with data visualization tools (optional).

Working experience in Agile-based delivery methodology.

Exposure to enterprise-grade solution implementations.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

(BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. or similar).
