Job Responsibilities
Identify functionality gaps and map the source and target structures as per blueprint. Coordinate with Data Migration Specialists, Leads and Business users to map existing legacy system data and structures to the SAP ERP system.
Prepare System Requirement existing data onto SAP using tools such as Business Objects, SQL Server, S4HANA etc.
Use computer science knowledge to analyze, design and develop software system solutions.
Apply data migration skillset to design and develop ETL jobs based on the requirement using SAP Business Objects.
Basic knowledge on SAP ECC / S4 objects for loading using IDOCs, BAPIs, LSMW, migration cockpit etc.
Understanding of Master and Transactional data and dependencies.
Utilize knowledge of computer programming languages for Data Programming, Modeling and Writing SQL/PL SQL Queries
Good to have exposure to Information steward
Experience in SAP Data Services 4.0/4.1/4.2 and SAP Information Steward.
Experience with databases (SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2016, Oracle, Sybase, HANA)
Experience in End to End data migration process. Implementing Data Migration for SAP ECC, S/4 HANA.
Configures SAP Business Objects Data Services software.
Assists in data mapping and GAP analysis between source and target data.
Modify or create new Data Services jobs within DM Methodology object requirements.
Uses Data Insight to perform data profiling on source system to assess data quality.
