Job Summary:
Support the successful delivery of banking and transformation initiatives through project coordination, governance, stakeholder management, and PMO best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, and remediation plans, ensuring timely follow-up, escalation, and closure of project deliverables and outstanding items.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Finance, Data Management teams, and external vendors, to manage dependencies, facilitate communication, and support the resolution of project issues and risks.
- Support the planning, development, and maintenance of project scope, milestones, governance frameworks, delivery roadmaps, and project documentation in accordance with established project management methodologies and standards.
- Monitor compliance with PMO governance requirements, project management frameworks, reporting standards, and documentation controls, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage and maintain project repositories, governance artefacts, lessons learned, and knowledge management documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of project information.
- Prepare and consolidate project status updates, management reports, meeting materials, and governance documentation to support effective project oversight and stakeholder decision-making.
- Coordinate project meetings, document key decisions and action items, and follow up on deliverables to support successful project execution and governance adherence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, project management, governance, or transformation initiatives.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and governance processes, including project planning, status reporting, RAID management, issue tracking, and change control.
- Experience preparing project documentation, management reports, meeting minutes, governance materials, and stakeholder presentations.
- Experience supporting IT, regulatory, data governance, risk management, or transformation projects within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in BCBS239, data governance, data management, or other regulatory-driven initiatives is an added advantage.
- Experience working with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent platforms is an added advantage.
- Previous experience gained within a consulting firm is an added advantage.
