Job Summary
Key Skills:
Required - SQL, Basic ETL/BI tools
Python, Data Governance Experience (any DG specific tool I,e Alation / Apache Atlas / Ataccama One / Collibra), Business Analyst/Operational experience is a plus.

- Responsibilities: Focus on technical implementation and management of data governance initiatives, data curation, and ensuring data quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Data Governance Implementation:
- Implement and manage data governance initiatives using cataloguing tools
- Maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Data Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to data governance principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Implement /Manage Data quality frameworks to ensure compliance
- Data Curation:
- Responsible for data curation and management, ensuring catalogue is accurate and up-to-date.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of Python scripting for data manipulation and analysis.
- Functional Expertise:
- Collaborate with the operations team to document terms and definitions, and investigate data lineage.
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective data governance practices.
- Develop and maintain data governance documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Master's (or equivalent), B.Tech/B.E/ BSc in Computers or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
