Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Extraction Intern to support our sales, marketing, and research teams by collecting, validating, and organizing business data from various online sources. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in data research and operations within an IT services environment.

This is a full-time remote internship with opportunities to learn about CRM systems, lead generation, and data operations in a fast-paced B2B setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and compile business and contact data from online sources, databases, directories, and platforms.
  • Conduct web research to identify potential clients, companies, and decision-makers.
  • Clean, verify, and maintain accuracy of data in spreadsheets and CRM systems.
  • Organize and structure large datasets for sales and marketing use.
  • Perform data validation, deduplication, and formatting tasks.
  • Support lead generation and market research initiatives.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on data extraction progress and quality.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand data requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and quality.
  • Good written and basic verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred (Good To Have)

  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn research and online databases.
  • Experience with data entry, lead generation, or research projects.
  • Interest in B2B sales, marketing, or business analytics.

Internship Details

  • Type: Full-time remote internship
  • Duration: 36 months (extendable based on performance)
  • Working Hours: 8 hours/day
  • Stipend: As per company standards
  • Certificate & PPO: Internship completion certificate and potential full-time opportunity based on performance.
