Job: Advanced Excel Specialist

XL++ is a GUI-driven tool that extends Excel capabilities to optimize outcome time, minimize user errors, and enhance reliability and accuracy with diverse source data types. Built on a robust .NET core architecture, XL++ works on all Excel versions and processes large datasets efficiently. It features customized add-ons for data import, transformation, and visualization, as well as automation of business processes through pre-configured templates and real-time updates.

Role Description:

This is a full-time position for an experienced Advanced Excel Specialist. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in Excel automation to develop complex data processing solutions, create sophisticated macros and VBA scripts, and design advanced analytics using Power Query and Power Pivot. You will work closely with our development team to enhance XL++ capabilities and deliver high-impact automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex Excel-based automation solutions using VBA and Macros
• Build advanced data transformation workflows using Power Query
• Create sophisticated data models and analytics using Power Pivot
• Develop customized Excel templates and tools for business process automation
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Excel-based systems for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with the product team to enhance XL++ features and functionality
• Provide technical expertise and best practices guidance on Excel automation projects
• Document solutions and create user guides for complex Excel applications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in advanced Excel development
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel functions, formulas, and advanced features
• Strong hands-on experience with VBA programming and macro development
• Demonstrated expertise in Power Query (M language) for data transformation
• Advanced knowledge of Power Pivot and DAX for data modeling and analysis
• Experience with large dataset processing and optimization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with .NET framework and integration with Excel
• Knowledge of SQL and database connectivity
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices
• Experience in developing commercial Excel add-ins or tools
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control
