Data Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and managing data pipelines, as well as expertise in data architecture and processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and data pipelines.
• Develop and manage data architectures and data models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of data pipelines and workflows.
• Monitor and optimize data flow and data collection processes.
• Implement data storage solutions and manage database systems effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
