We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience in analytics, database optimization, and business intelligence. This role requires deep expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, and data-driven analytics, including visualization and reporting.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models in PostgreSQL to support analytical workloads.
Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI,) to communicate insights effectively.
Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, business metrics, and performance indicators in collaboration with business teams.
Lead data exploration and statistical analysis to support strategic planning and product optimization.
Enhance query performance through indexing, caching strategies, and database tuning.
Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Analytics Engineer.
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and indexes, tuning performance, configuring databases, managing PostgreSQL environments to support mission-critical applications.
Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI.
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse).
Exposure to NoSQL and data lake technologies.
Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management tools.
Exposure to performance monitoring tools (pgAdmin, Query Profiler, EXPLAIN ANALYZE).
Familiarity with frontend visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js) for custom analytics dashboards
