Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms. This role requires deep hands-on experience in data warehousing, ELT pipeline development, and performance optimization, along with the ability to collaborate across analytics and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse architecture.
- Build, manage, and monitor complex ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Perform advanced Snowflake performance tuning, including clustering, pruning, caching, and warehouse sizing.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Manage data ingestion from multiple data sources such as RDBMS, APIs, flat files, and cloud storage.
- Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and security best practices.
- Collaborate closely with BI, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 913 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
- Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and ingestion patterns.
