Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a AWS Data Engineer located in Bengaluru. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and business decision-making. Key tasks include implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, performing data modeling, creating reliable data warehouses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration and quality. The role involves solving complex data problems and optimizing data systems to meet dynamic business needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling to design and implement optimized architectures
• Experience with AWS cloud services, such as S3, EC2, EMR, Glue, CloudWatch, Athena, Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and workflows
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and development
• Experience with Data Analytics to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Pyspark
• Understanding of cloud platforms and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Spark)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and interact with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience in relevant industries (e.g., Retail, CPG, Pharma, Life Sciences) is a plus
