Job Description:

We are looking for a DataStage Developer with 23 years of experience in ETL development and data integration, preferably in the banking domain. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing ETL solutions using IBM DataStage while ensuring high-quality, reusable, and scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take an active role in shaping, designing, and enhancing the overall ETL/DataStage architecture.
2. Analyze existing ETL processes and recommend and implement performance and architectural improvements.
3. Review business and technical requirements to determine feasibility and actionability for the ETL team.
4. Manage the ETL build phase, perform code reviews, and ensure quality standards and architectural guidelines are followed.
5. Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and suggest best ETL implementation practices.
6. Design and develop reusable ETL components and frameworks for project-wide use.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to ETL team members as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 23 years of hands-on experience in IBM DataStage ETL development
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing
• Experience working in the banking domain (mandatory)
• Ability to design efficient, scalable, and reusable ETL solutions
• Good understanding of data quality, performance tuning, and error handling in ETL
• Experience interacting with clients and translating requirements into technical solutions

Preferred Skills:

• Experience acting as an ETL Lead or owning ETL modules
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with SDLC and ETL best practices
