Coforge is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in ETL, SQL, SSIS & SSRS. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineer to support USIC data operations, BondPro data pipelines, and overall data quality across the platform.
- The role involves developing and maintaining ETL processes, managing support tables, performing SQL-based data extraction, conducting quality checks, and ensuring smooth, accurate flow of data between systems.
- This individual will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to maintain data consistency, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing enhancements.
ETL Development & Maintenance:
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading BondPro data.
- Optimize existing ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Automate repetitive workflows and reduce manual interventions.
USIC Data Handling:
- Manage inbound and outbound data flows for USIC systems.
- Analyze USIC data structures and ensure accurate integration with downstream applications.
- Identify data mismatches, integrity issues, and implement fixes.
Support Tables & Metadata Management:
- Maintain and update support tables required for processing rules, lookup logic, and mapping definitions.
- Ensure version control, auditability, and proper documentation of all support table changes.
- Collaborate with business users to validate changes before deployment.
Data Extraction & SQL Development:
- Perform complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.
- Build stored procedures, views, and functions as needed.
- Support ad-hoc and scheduled data pull requests from internal and client stakeholders.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce data validation, balancing, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Identify data anomalies and work with relevant teams to resolve root causes.
- Create automated data quality dashboards and defect alerts.
Troubleshooting & Production Support:
- Monitor daily data loads and address failures promptly.
- Analyze performance issues and implement tuning or fixes.
- Support UAT and production deployments for data-related enhancements.
Documentation & Collaboration:
- Create clear, detailed documentation for ETL flows, data dictionary, mapping sheets, and support tables.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including QA, application developers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in design discussions and process-improvement initiatives. 8. Able to write and execute Github Copilot case.
Education / Qualification:
- BE/ B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate
