Role: Data Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Location: 100% Remote in Chennai, India
We are looking for a Data Engineer to support a large-scale data platform migration and modernization initiative. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, integrating large datasets, and enabling reliable data delivery for analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines
- Work with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets
- Integrate data across systems for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Support migration of legacy pipelines to cloud-based architectures
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and SQL
- Experience building data pipelines and data warehousing solutions
- Experience working with large-scale/distributed data systems
- Experience with Airflow or Cloud Composer
- Experience with AWS or GCP

- Kafka or streaming platforms
- dbt for data transformation
