Key Roles & Responsibilities Data Engineering Specialist (Azure)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Data Platform and SQL Server.
- Build ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
- Develop and manage data warehouse solutions using Azure SQL and ADLS.
- Optimize SQL queries and improve data performance and efficiency.
- Analyze existing data architecture and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Perform data validation, testing, and performance tuning.
- Support data migrations across databases and servers.
- Work closely with onshore teams, business stakeholders, and product owners.
- Collaborate with IT & DevOps teams on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Implement data governance, security, and best practices.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support financial data processes including ACH lifecycle, reconciliation, and bank integrations.
- Troubleshoot data issues and manage complex, high-volume data scenarios.
