Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data platforms and data warehouses centered on Microsoft Fabric technologies.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem using Fabric-native tools.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across the Microsoft Fabric environment.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing Fabric implementations to improve performance and reliability.
Required Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data modeling techniques (dimensional and normalized).
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory components (Data Pipeline, Data Flow Gen 2), PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL, and Python for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Experience with data ingestion from SAP systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or SAP BW is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools for dashboard and report development is desirable.
Coding & Technical Fluency:
- Proficient in SQL and Python (or equivalent languages) for scripting, data transformation, and automation tasks.
