Job Description

Design and develop scalable data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and protocols.
Implement and maintain data storage solutions, such as data lakes and warehouses.
Optimize data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for data systems and processes.
Support the integration of new tools and technologies into existing systems.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Engineer should have:

Relevant educational qualifications in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
Strong technical skills in data processing, integration, and storage tools.
Experience working with data pipelines and large datasets in the technology domain.
Knowledge of best practices in data security and compliance, especially within the chemical industry.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar.
An analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
