Role Description
This is a full-time Data Engineer-GCP role based in Chennai. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows, implementing data models, performing ETL processes, and managing data warehousing. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Data Engineering, including proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with Data Modeling and designing efficient data structures
- Proficient in Extract, Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing systems and best practices
- Understanding of Data Analytics to support business intelligence and decision-making
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a must-have skillset
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
- Certifications in GCP or related data engineering technologies are a bonus
