Experience:6+ years in software development / IT Data Analyst role
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai
Role Overview:
- Work on creation and modification of complex extraction queries on Big Data
- Support data analysis and reporting within enterprise environments
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Exposure to Business Analysis in IT environments
- Preferred exposure to HR data/domain
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
Good to Have:
- French language proficiency (intermediate to fluent, especially conversational)
Key Technical Skills:
- Advanced Hive Query Language (HQL) Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data Modelling
- ETL concepts
- Process workflows
- Exposure to Big Data stack (preferred)
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Mandatory Skills (Specific Role):
- Spark & Scala
- HQL / SQL
- Scheduling tools (Oozie / Control-M)
- Shell scripting / Python
Tools & Technologies:
- HUE
- Hive
- PostgreSQL (RDBMS)
