As a senior engineer on this team you would be designing and building tools and features for designers pushing the technology boundaries of what is possible on the web.

What you'll do

• Spearhead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of data systems, from architectural planning through production rollout.
• Develop and maintain both batch and real-time data pipelines to power key products and business initiatives.
• Architect and refine data models to effectively support evolving business and product needs.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders-including product managers, data scientists, and engineers-to build scalable solutions and enable data-informed decision-making.
• Foster strong collaboration with backend, data science, and machine learning teams to ensure smooth integration and interoperability of data systems.
• Help shape long-term data strategy and advance best practices in data engineering across the organization.
• Design and develop new features and tools collaborating with other engineers, product managers, designers and user researchers.
• Uphold high standards of quality, performance, and reliability through comprehensive monitoring, testing, and validation processes.
• Experienced in basic analytics, data quality monitoring, experiment logging, visualization and dashboards.
• Knowledgeable in building data pipelines for LLM workflows.
• Hands-on experience in Prompting.
• Experience building scalable, cloud-native services at large scale is a strong plus.

What you need to succeed

• Based in Bangalore.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science.
• 9+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and operating distributed data platforms and streaming systems (e.g., Databricks, Kafka etc.) at a large scale.
• Expertise in data modeling and data warehousing, with hands-on experience working with both relational and columnar databases.
• Experience with integrating machine learning models into data systems, LLM models, & Data Science technologies
• Strong hands-on experience developing in Javascript, Typescript, Python.
• Hands-on experience in Node.js, Rest APIs and tools like Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of security concepts and protocols for services on the cloud.
• Collaborate with backend and ML teams to integrate feature signals and optimize performance
• An interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to tackle problems in a sustainable way, always striving to improve process and learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.

• Experience developing for multiple devices and platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Experience with Agile development processes.
