Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 78 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. This is an on-site role where the candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure to support business analytics and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate will work on integrating data from multiple sources, transforming raw data into usable formats, and building efficient data storage systems such as data warehouses and data lakes. Daily responsibilities include managing ETL/ELT processes, monitoring data workflows, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to ensure reliable data availability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.

Collect and integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, applications, and system logs.

Transform raw data into clean, structured, and usable datasets for analytics and reporting.

Design and manage data storage systems such as Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and relational databases.

Work with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Airflow, and Kafka.

Build and optimize data warehouse solutions using technologies like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability by implementing validation and monitoring processes.

Optimize database queries and improve data processing performance.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Business Intelligence teams to support data-driven insights.

Monitor and maintain data processing workflows and automation systems.

Qualifications

78 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Development, or related roles.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Hands-on experience with data pipeline development and ETL tools.

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and big data technologies.

Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certifications in Cloud Platforms, Big Data, or Data Engineering tools will be an added advantage.
