Location: Pune ( Hybrid 1 week KT onsite, thereafter as required)

Role Overview:

The Data Development Tech Lead will be responsible for leading the BI and Data Engineering development team, overseeing solution design, ensuring development best practices, and coordinating delivery of data and reporting solutions across business stakeholders. The Tech Lead will act as the technical point of contact for the data platform and BI solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and delivery standards. The role also requires strong expertise in data engineering and cloud migration (AWS), solid knowledge of SQL, and excellent communication skills to interact with clients.

Job Description:

Technical Leadership

Lead the design and development of data pipelines, data models, and BI solutions.

Provide architectural guidance for Snowflake-based data platform development.

Ensure best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and BI reporting.

Solution Delivery

Oversee development of Power BI dashboards, datasets, and paginated reports.

Design scalable dbt-based data transformation models within Snowflake.

Implement CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.

Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, HR, IT, Fulfilment, and Executive teams.

Translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.

Team Leadership

Provide technical mentorship to BI developers and data engineers.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, development practices, and data governance guidelines.

Coordinate sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and development activities.

Platform Oversight

Ensure efficient integration of automation and orchestration tools including:

1. Azure Functions

2. Azure Logic Apps

3. Power Automate

4. Workflow orchestration tools
