Contribute to efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.
Diagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking and storage devices.
Install and maintain switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear. Lead the projects and sub-functional team(s).
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Linux operating systems and networking protocols.
Experience with Linux Administration, Network Infrastructure, Hardware, Project Management, Technical Support Operations, or Network Diagnostics.
Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with networking protocols and experience with performing component-level repairs on IT equipment.
Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules and flexibility to work in a 24/7 or 8/7 support model.
