Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Testing / ETL Professional to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and integrity across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in database testing, ETL validation, and data quality management, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to deliver robust and error-free ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Database & ETL Testing:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for database and ETL processes.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency between source and target systems.
  • Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and quality checks across large datasets.
  • Test ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Defect Management & Collaboration:

  • Identify, report, and track defects using test management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand ETL processes and business requirements.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain detailed test scripts, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory policies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in Database Testing (SQL, relational databases, PL/SQL).
  • Hands-on experience in ETL Testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
