Job Title: Data Architect (Hands-on | Cloud Data Warehouse)
About the Role
We are hiring a hands-on Data Architect for a leading global organization. This role is ideal for professionals who come from a strong Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering background and are looking to transition into an architecture-focused role.
The position requires deep expertise in dimensional data modeling and cloud data warehouse platforms, with a strong focus on building scalable, end-to-end data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data architectures and data models (dimensional & transactional)
- Build and implement end-to-end data pipelines and cloud data warehouse solutions
- Work closely with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into data models and structures
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to data platform design decisions and architecture best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Dimensional Data Modeling
- (Star Schema, Fact-Dimension design, SCD, normalization)
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms:
- Snowflake / Amazon Redshift / Azure Synapse
- Experience in Data Engineering tools:
- Talend / Informatica / SSIS
- OR
- Experience as an Analytics Engineer (dbt preferred)
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills
- Experience building end-to-end data pipelines and data solutions
