Data Architect
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design for enterprise integrations
- Design & implement near real-time data pipelines (OLTP & OLAP)
- Define data architecture strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish data governance, policies, standards, compliance
- Maintain software quality & security guardrails
- Develop & maintain architecture blueprints (current, planned, future state)
- Translate business requirements technical solutions
- Oversee development, debugging, testing, customer acceptance
- Solve complex problems with optimal architecture solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT
- 8+ years software development OR 3+ years architecture experience
- 5+ years data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
- 5+ years Data Warehousing (performance optimization, indexing, storage)
- Expertise in data security (access control, encryption, compliance)
- Strong in data integration solutions across systems
Preferred Skills
- SQL
- Python (OOP)
- Big Data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Data Lakes & Warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- SQL & NoSQL databases
- AWS services: Kafka/Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS PostgreSQL
