Role Overview Volt Money is hiring a high-intent Data Analyst who can independently turn business problems into clear metrics, insights, and actions. This role goes beyond reporting. You'll own analyses end-to-end—clarifying requirements, building the right logic, validating numbers, and ensuring insights drive decisions.
Responsibilities
- Write complex SQL (Athena / Redshift): joins, CTEs, window functions, funnels
- Build and maintain QuickSight dashboards for Product, Sales, and Ops
- Analyze funnels, conversions, TAT, and performance trends
- Perform (RCA) for business and data issues
- Define and track KPIs with stakeholders
- Present insights clearly to technical and non-technical teams
- Debug data mismatches using SQL, Excel, Python, and AWS logs
Experience Must-Have
- 2–3 years of experience in data analytics (fintech/startup preferred)
- Strong SQL fundamentals (non-negotiable)
- Strong Excel (pivots, formulas, validations)
- Dashboarding experience (QuickSight / Power BI)
- Basic Python for data cleaning and checks
- Hands-on exposure to AWS (Athena, S3, CloudWatch) Mindset (Most Important)
- High ownership—takes problems from start to closure
- Strong logical and analytical thinking
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- Bias for action and accountability
Good to Have
- Experience with sales, ops, or funnel analytics
- Prior RCA or production data debugging experience
- Experience in fintech or fast-paced startups
