Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale programmatic advertising data (including DSP/SSP performance, RTB metrics, audience behavior, and campaign KPIs such as CPM, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and ROI) to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Big Data Engineering team to align on data requirements, optimize data pipelines, validate data accuracy, and ensure timely access to high-quality data for analytical activities.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards, regular performance reports, and ad-hoc analyses to communicate insights clearly and concisely to business departments (marketing, sales, product, etc.).
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and analytical needs, deliver tailored insights and data-backed recommendations, and track the impact of data-driven decisions on business outcomes.
- Deeply understand the programmatic advertising ecosystem (RTB, DSPs, SSPs, audience targeting, ad formats, and industry best practices) to provide specialized analytical support and drive campaign optimization.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular data validation, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and implementing quality control measures to maintain reliable analytical outputs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new analytics tools, and programmatic advertising innovations to continuously improve analytical processes and insights quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on programmatic advertising (experience with DSPs/SSPs, RTB, and programmatic campaign analytics is mandatory).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Proven experience collaborating with big data engineering teams to align on data infrastructure, optimize pipelines, and ensure data quality.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights; sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with advertising metrics, digital marketing trends, and programmatic advertising best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the advertising, marketing, or ad-tech industry.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing concepts.
- Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau Certified Data Analyst) or programmatic advertising (e.g., Google Ads, The Trade Desk certifications).
