Job Description
- We are seeking a Data professional with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in analysing datasets and applying statistical and machine learning methods to support data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Tableau, with experience applying advanced statistical and ML techniques to solve business problems, and exposure to cloud platforms like GCP and Azure is a plus. Experience with Dataiku is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, domain experts, and cross-functional teams are essential.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Develop SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data for analysis and modeling.
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to address moderately complex business problems.
- Build and update dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Use Python for data processing, automation, and workflow-related tasks.
- Work with Dataiku (preferred) to support data preparation workflows and analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate requirements into analytical deliverables.
- Present analytical findings and model outputs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, model performance, and analytical processes.
- Maintain clear documentation for datasets, workflows, and analytical approaches.
- Stay current with new tools, methods, and trends in data science and applied analytics.
- Required Skills:
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field - advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- 35 years of experience in a data science or applied analytics role.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, modeling, automation scripts, and workflow tasks.
- Experience with Dataiku is preferred (data workflows, preparation, and model implementation).
- Working knowledge of Tableau dashboard development and visualization best practices.
- Exposure to machine learning and GenAI tools is preferred
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery/ Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD workflows is a plus.
- Understanding ETL/ELT concepts and data quality best practices.
