Data Analyst 2 to 5 years Full Time We are hiring a sharp, analytically rigorous Data Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, automation, and business storytelling. This is not a pure reporting role. You will architect automated data pipelines, build scalable reporting workflows, and bring a growth marketing mindset to every analysis. Key Responsibilities
- SQL and Data Infrastructure
- Design and maintain complex, high-performance SQL queries across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB that power daily business decisions.
- Build and own data models that structure raw datasets into clean, analytics ready layers for BI tools and downstream teams.
- Spot data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies proactively and work closely with engineering to resolve them before they become business problems.
- Automation and Pipeline Engineering
- Build automated reporting workflows that push query outputs directly into Google Sheets, dashboards, or BI tools with minimal manual intervention.
- Own end to end data delivery from raw query to polished dashboard ensuring real time visibility into business metrics across teams.
- AI and Smart Automation
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to automate insight generation, summarize data trends, and reduce repetitive analytical tasks.
- Explore automation workflows to surface insights faster and reduce analyst bottlenecks across teams.
- Apply AI assisted scripting to scheduled or event driven reporting tasks where they add genuine value.
- Marketing and Growth Analytics
- Track multi channel campaign performance across paid, organic, and owned channels measuring ROI, attribution, and incremental impact.
- Analyze audience behavior, funnel drop offs, and conversion patterns to surface actionable growth insights for the marketing team.
- Support A/B tests, cohort experiments, and growth initiatives defining metrics, setting up tracking, and delivering clear post analysis readouts.
- Build and maintain marketing dashboards that give the growth team real time visibility into campaign and channel health.
- Cross Functional Insight Delivery
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Product, and Marketing to translate open ended business questions into reliable, reproducible analyses.
- Own ad hoc and recurring analysis including cohort studies, funnel health, retention trends, LTV modeling, and operational KPIs.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely, tailored to the audience whether that is a 5 slide exec summary or a detailed breakdown for a product team.
Must Have Skills
- Advanced SQL proficiency across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and similar databases including window functions, CTEs, query optimization, and schema design.
- Strong experience automating data workflows pushing query outputs to Google Sheets, dashboards, or downstream tools with minimal manual effort.
- Experience with scheduled and event driven data processing using orchestration tools.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and structuring datasets for analytics consumption.
- Comfortable navigating large, messy, and ambiguous datasets to answer open ended business questions.
- Proficient in Excel and one or more BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong grasp of business KPIs and ability to derive and communicate insights from raw data with minimal hand holding. Familiarity with AI assisted tools and willingness to use them as a real productivity lever in analytical workflows.
