Red is looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who thrives in messy datasets and can transform chaos into clarity. Dissect, manipulate, debug it, and make it work for marketing outcomes. You'll play a key part in managing, modeling, and optimizing our data infrastructure on AWS to drive decisions across product, marketing, and analytics.
What You'll Do
- Complex data sets in AWS (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, etc.) and SQL environments to extract actionable insights.
- Design and implement SQL-based data models to support marketing analytics and reporting needs.
- Debug and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and data issues, working cross-functionally to resolve inconsistencies and anomalies.
- Perform advanced data wrangling and transformation tasks using SQL, Python (preferred), or similar tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to define data requirements and deliver clean, trusted datasets.
- Build automated dashboards and reports to support data-driven marketing campaigns and customer segmentation strategies.
- Own data quality proactively identify and fix data integrity issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and roadmap discussions as a data SME.
What You'll Need
- 35+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role with hands-on experience in AWS cloud data tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL you can write complex queries, optimize performance, and model data like a pro.
- Experience with AWS data services: Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, etc.
- A deep understanding of data modeling (dimensional, relational, and denormalized models).
- Comfort with debugging messy datasets, joining disparate sources, and building clean datasets from scratch.
