We're looking for a Data Analyst who isn't just great with numbers, but someone who knows how to make them speak. If you can slice raw data, structure chaos, and turn it into dashboards and insights that drive decisions, you'll fit right in. This role sits at the core of Playo's growth engine, requiring precision, ownership, and the ability to move quickly. Responsibilities:

• Gather, clean, and process raw data from SQL, MongoDB, and other internal sources
• Build analytical models, metrics frameworks, and reusable query logic
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Metabase (or similar BI tools)
• Investigate trends, anomalies, edge cases, and performance shifts like a detective, not a reporter
• Deliver insights that help strengthen retention, improve conversion, and drive revenue goals
• Build automated reports for business, product, and ops teams
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define what should be measured — not just track what already exists
• Present findings in a clear, structured, and actionable format
• Validate data accuracy, fix inconsistencies, and ensure reliability of reporting pipelines
• Stay curious — question assumptions, test hypotheses, and push for better decision-making through data

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills — including joins, window functions, CTEs, and optimization
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB querying and structuring unstructured datasets
• Solid command of Python (especially Pandas, NumPy) for data wrangling
• Working knowledge of visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, normalization, indexing)
• Ability to break down complex datasets into simple, logical insights
• Strong communication skills — especially when presenting data
• Sharp attention to detail and a habit of validating data before sharing
• Bonus if you've worked with cohort analysis, funnels, churn modeling, or retention insights
