Primary Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making
- Data Querying and Transformation: Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, including Snowflake
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations and insights
- Data Integration: Integrate data from APIs, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and external sources to enhance reporting capabilities
- Visualization Best Practices: Apply data visualization principles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability of reports
- Data Quality: Implement data transformation and cleansing processes to maintain data integrity and reliability
- Documentation: Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and pipeline documentation
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data engineering, cloud platforms, and analytics
- Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues
- Data Management and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, maintain security standards, and manage access controls for sensitive data

Required Qualifications:
- Power BI or Tableau Expertise: Intermediate to advanced experience in Power BI or Tableau development
- Data Visualization: Solid understanding of visualization techniques and best practices
- SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated solid ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, preferably in Snowflake or Azure
- Adaptability: Proven quick learner with the ability to adopt new tools and technologies
- Problem-Solving: Proven solid analytical and critical-thinking skills and can identify patterns or anomalies in the data
- Communication: Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- API Integration: Experience with integrating data from APIs
- Learning Analytics: Experience working with learning and development data
- Data Modelling and Dashboard Development: Experience in creating effective data models and interactive/robust dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
- Cloud Knowledge: Basic understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Python Skills: Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and automation
- ETL Concepts: Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes
