Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support smart city operations and decision-making initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze complex datasets, build dashboards, and generate actionable insights to enhance urban governance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets
- Perform statistical analysis for diagnostic and predictive insights
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and customized reports for departments
Visualization & Reporting
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI / Tableau
- Present insights in a clear, actionable format for stakeholders
- Prepare detailed reports with recommendations
Collaboration & Communication
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning
- Develop predictive models and forecasting solutions
- Monitor and improve model performance
- Support data-driven decision-making initiatives
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with latest analytics tools and smart city technologies
- Identify and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
- B.E (EC/CE/IT) or MCA
- Certification in Data Analysis or Big Data.
- 38 years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence
Strong knowledge of:
- SQL, Excel
- Python / R (preferred)
- Data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
