Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern who is passionate about working with data and deriving meaningful insights. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence while working on real-world datasets in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources to ensure data quality

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, correlations, and patterns

• Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms

• Write and execute basic SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation

• Assist in building and maintaining datasets and simple data models

• Work closely with team members to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven insights

• Present findings in a clear and structured manner to support decision-making

• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all reports

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)

• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Basic knowledge of Python or R is an added advantage

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques

• Exposure to real-world datasets or academic projects in data analysis

• Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
