We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst II to join our team at Sparta Systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating our advanced analytics and visualization capabilities across the Commercial enterprise, designing and managing data architecture to provide strategic insights into complex business problems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on complex data science and analytics projects in support of the Customer Experience organization.
- Collaborate with Global Data Management (GDM) owners to identify data requirements and design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake.
- Design and implement robust data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.
- Develop, operate, and maintain advanced Power BI reports for effective data visualization.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis to solve intricate business problems.
- Enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality, privacy, and security, including performing audits.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems, and optimize system performance.
- Partner with the IT support team on production processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and production deployments.
Skills Requirement:
- Hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Expert proficiency in scripting and querying languages, such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with both structured and unstructured data.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce) or SAP business and technical aspects.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
- Adaptability to changing business priorities and flexibility with work time management.
- Experience with predictive analysis / trend analysis using large datasets.
- Knowledge of databases, data warehouse platforms (Snowflake), and cloud-based tools.
- Experience in using data integration tools for ETL processes.
- Demonstrated experience in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear technical vision for projects and initiatives to stakeholders and management.
- Proven mentoring ability to drive results and technical growth in peers.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) for interacting with customers and peers.
- Demonstrated application of statistics, statistical modeling, and statistical process control.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
