Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Collaborate with financial teams to define KPIs and success metrics for products

and features

Translate KPIs and metrics into clearly defined, performant tables

Build, modify and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, metrics and the general

health of products

Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to collaborate on

strategy, tactics, and to present findings

Analyze data to uncover insights, trends and answer key business questions

Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of

identifiable factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as analytics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline
• Minimum of 8+ (6+ years with a Masters) years of professional experience in a data-driven, finance analytical role
• Demonstrated previous proficiency in SQL and Tableau and experience with Python/R to be tested during technical interviews
• Experience in quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated strong communication skills
• Strong data storytelling skills, including the ability to distil technical insights into a clear and compelling narrative
• Experience building intuitive dashboards using Tableau producing actionable data insights
• Experience working independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Hands on previous professional experience in finance analytics, preferably at a SaaS subscription based company
• Experience with dbt is a bonus
• Ability to deliver results independently or with minimal supervision
• Network with senior internal and external personnel within your area of expertise
• Readily take on difficult challenges and approach them with a sense of urgency
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
