About The Role
This is a full-time, on-site Data Analyst role located in Raipur. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support decision-making processes across various departments within BHEL. The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies. Key tasks include preparing data models, conducting statistical analysis, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and project management to identify data trends, optimize processes, and enhance overall organizational performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, and using statistical methods to interpret data
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets and identify patterns and trends
- Effective Communication skills to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar software is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field is required
- Relevant experience in data analysis and visualization is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity
- Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to facilitate real-time data analysis
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data sets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data-driven insights and recommend solutions
- Monitor data quality and implement necessary measures to maintain data accuracy and consistency
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data analytics to continuously improve analytical capabilities
