Job Title: Functional Data Analyst Electrical Domain

Location: Mumbai/ Pune

Experience: 4-8 years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Functional Data Analyst with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and expertise in the Electric Domain. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power systems, grid infrastructure, or electrical distribution networks and will be responsible for leveraging data analytics to drive operational efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret electrical system data, including power distribution, grid performance, and asset utilization.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business intelligence and decision-making.
  • Identify patterns, anomalies, and insights from large datasets related to power grids, electrical assets, and energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to optimize electrical operations through data-driven strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across multiple sources.
  • Utilize statistical models, machine learning techniques, and analytical tools to predict electrical system failures and inefficiencies.
  • Support regulatory compliance and reporting requirements using data analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis within the electrical or power sector.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of electrical grid operations, SCADA, smart meters, and energy management systems.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
