Job Title: Data Analyst Finance

Location: Hyderabad, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: In-office

Working Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM IST

About The Role

Databeat is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to work closely with the Finance team to support data-driven financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, building dashboards, and generating insights that help improve financial visibility and efficiency across the organization.

This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL (BigQuery) and Looker Studio, and a good understanding of financial metrics and terminology.

Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Finance team to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to support financial reporting and analysis.
    • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio for finance and leadership teams.
    • Analyze revenue, cost, margin, and other financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Automate recurring financial reports and data pipelines where possible.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial datasets.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, analytics, and leadership to support financial planning and reporting.
    • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 25 years of experience in data analysis or financial analytics roles.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, preferably with Google BigQuery.
    • Experience building dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
    • Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology such as revenue, cost, margin, P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with finance or accounting teams.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
    • Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting systems.
